Ron Wix, the community service officer for the SUSANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT in California,  did not waste any time in becoming a participant in the 911 Cell Phone Bank program.  Susanville is located about 85 miles west of Reno, NV and in the high desert country of Northern California.  Lassen County offers  views of mountains, hills, lakes, split rail fences, and the Susan River.  About 10% of their population is comprised of senior citizens, many of whom live alone.  Ron felt that this was an opportunity to address another safety issue for their residents.  We welcome Ron and his staff to the 911 program and expect a long and lasting relationship.
