WIFLE Anniversary

Register now to attend WIFLE’s 10th Annual Leadership Training Conference from June 16-18, 2009, at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Arizona. This year’s conference is looking to be the best yet. 

A special pre-conference training session, entitled “At the Border,” will take place on Monday, June 15, hosted by the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection.  The Tucson Sector covers most of the State of Arizona from the New Mexico State line to the Yuma County line.  This area covers a total of 262 border miles and is the busiest Sector in the country in both illegal alien apprehensions and marijuana seizures. In 2007, 378,000 illegal immigrants were arrested; 41,000 of those had criminal histories. Those attendees taking advantage of this special session will be transported to the border for a first-hand look at Border Patrol operations getting “up close and personal.”  Absolutely a unique experience.  Come a day early to take advantage of the special session.
