A senior named Stanley Baron who felt much safer knowing he had emergency communication shared these comments “In recent years, I have been concerned about how I would obtain assistance away from home if I should be faced with an emergency. My daily communication needs are best met by my land-line phone service, and adding a cell phone did not make economic sense for a retiree living on a fixed income. The cell phone from your Sense of Security Project [the 911 Cell Phone Bank Program administered by the Southern Maine Agency on Aging] was a perfect solution.” He tests the phone often when he leaves his home.
